A quick and honest take
This place has great potential, but it misses the mark. Rooms are spacious but dirty, with mold in the sink and a pungent smell. Stains on sheets and a broken dresser just add to the discomfort. Staff should be more attentive to cleanliness and customer concerns. Really disappointing experience.

The Cozy Inn had spacious rooms with comfortable furnishings, making it a perfect retreat. The staff were welcoming and attentive, addressing all my needs, which truly enhanced my stay as a senior traveler.
Better amenities for senior guests would be appreciated.

comfortable stay , but could use better upkeep
The staff were genuinely friendly and made an effort to assist us whenever needed. The location was ideal, with close proximity to shops and eateries. The room's spaciousness allowed our family to relax comfortably after our outings. Having a convenience store right next door was a big plus for quick snacks and drinks.
The building showed signs of neglect in some areas, which impacted the overall experience.

My stay was quite the mix. The room was surprisingly spacious and featured a comfy king-size bed, which was a nice surprise! The cleanliness was somewhat lacking, as there were spots of dust noticeable in some areas. Overall, it was decent but not without its flaws.

Had a great time with friends! We explored Newport Pier and Balboa Pier. The hotel was a perfect base with spacious rooms, fast internet for streaming, and a family-friendly vibe. Don't miss out on the vending machines and accessible facilities.
One downside was that the management took a while to address a minor issue we faced, but it didn’t ruin our experience.

Clean sheets and decent mattress provided a fair night’s sleep, despite other issues. The parking lot is spacious and easy to maneuver around, which is a perk if you're hauling gear.
The shower had no warm water and barely drained. quite unpleasant. The ice bucket in the room was moldy, and the ice machine was out of service, forcing me to trek down the street for ice. The A/C unit kept shutting off, making the room uncomfortably warm while I tried to sleep. One bed had stains that could make anyone reconsider laying down. Overall, it felt like the place needed some serious upkeep.

Just an ideal choice for a brief hiatus in Costa Mesa with all in all brilliant value for money. The managers responded immediately to a minor complaint I had, which made me feel valued. Try to explore local restaurants nearby for some great meals.

I had a fantastic time relaxing by the pool after a long day of exploring the nearby sights, and loved the comfy beds that made sleeping easy. The outdoor pool and the sun loungers were perfect for unwinding and soaking up the sun. Just wish the parking was a bit easier, but that didn’t take away from the overall great vibe! 😊

I did meet some staff who were somewhat nice. The bed was comfortable, not gonna lie.
It was steep, but still somehow acceptable.
